Wi-Fi installation
Indoor and outdoor Wi-Fi surveyed, designed and installed — then managed by us, or handed over to run yourself.
Asptech surveys, designs and installs business Wi-Fi across the UK — indoors, outdoors or both. After installation we can manage the network for you, or hand it over fully documented for your own team to run.
Most bad Wi-Fi is not a bandwidth problem. It is access points put wherever there was a spare socket, with no thought for walls, floors, interference or where people actually work. The result is dead spots, dropped calls and a network that slows to a crawl as soon as the room fills up.
Every installation starts with a survey of the space — offices, warehouses, yards, car parks, gardens and grounds — so coverage is designed around the building rather than guessed at. Then the choice is yours: we manage the network on an ongoing basis, or we install it, document it and hand it over.
What it includes
Site survey
Coverage, capacity and interference assessed on site, indoors, outdoors or both, before anything is specified.
Design and installation
Access points, cabling and mounting planned around the survey and installed by our own engineers.
Managed Wi-Fi
Monitoring, firmware updates, changes and support handled by us for as long as you want them.
Install only
A finished, tested network handed over with documentation and credentials for your own team to run.
Common questions
- Do we have to take managed Wi-Fi?
- No. Install only is a perfectly good outcome — we hand over a documented, tested network and your team takes it from there. If you change your mind later, we can pick up management at any point.
- Can you cover outdoor areas?
- Yes. Yards, car parks, beer gardens, sports grounds and the spaces between buildings are all regular work. Outdoor coverage needs weatherproof equipment and careful placement, which is why the survey comes first.
- Can we have separate guest and staff networks?
- Yes, and we recommend it. Guests get internet access without any route to your own systems, and staff devices stay on a network you control.
